Raul Alejandro OcasioRuiz (born January 10, 1993), known professionally as Rauw Alejandro is a Puerto Rican singer and songwriter. He is often referred to as the "King Of Modern Reggaeton".[2][3] He belongs to the "new generation" of Puerto Rican musicians. The debut album, Afrodisiaco, was released in November of the year 2020. Vice Versa was his follow-up studio album. The lead single, "Todo de Ti", was released in June 2021. Two Latin Grammy Awards have been won by him from 12 nominations. Raul Alejandro Ruiz the Latin Grammy Award winner, was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on the 10th of January 1993. He also grew up in Canovanas as well as Carolina. His father Raul Ocasio Ruiz was a guitarist and his mother Maria Nelly Ruiz was his backing vocalist. They introduced him to the music of Michael Jackson and Elvis Presley. Presley and Jackson were influential early on. He was also influenced later by Ricky Martin and Daddy Yankee. He also credits Ciara as an influencer in music.
