Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy (born April 16th, 1996) was born in Miami Florida. The mother of Dennis Alan Taylor, a former banking executive and Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist named Anya Taylor-Joy. The father of her was Argentine and has Scottish as well as English heritage. Her mother's heritage is Spanish as well as English. She was the first born of a clan of six children. Four of them are siblings of the marriage that she had with Taylor's father. They was within Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy aged 6 and after which they moved to the Victoria district in London. Taylor Joy stated that moving from Buenos Aires, to Victoria was difficult and she was not able to take the time to learn English, hoping to go home to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school following the switched from Northlands. After that, she went to Queen's Gate School in London and took ballet classes and participated in drama productions. When she was 16 she left school and pursued a career as an actress full time. From a young age Taylor-Joy had a dream to become an actress and her dream came true when she was given an opportunity to model by Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
